Gamespy's top (read:shit) 25 Video Game Cinematic Moments

As soon as I saw the Halo Wars trailer there I closed the window.

Why would HL2/HL get any awards? They had no Cins. It was all in game.

What the... Halo lovers? Do they get paid by Microsoft?
I didn't like any of the Halo 2 ads they just seemed to make an average game like it was God - then why wasn't it released on PC till now?

Some of the others were ok tho, IMO Blizzard are the best when it comes to Cut Scenes.

I thought we were all aware of the corporate rimjobs GameSpy likes to give Halo.

They lost their credibility in my eyes years ago. And I personally thought the Gears of War commercial was shite, David Fincher or not. It's like they're really sucking down hard for the money shot when you read their comments on it.

That GoW trailer was nothing special to me. We've all seen that "huge monster appears out of the darkness" thing gazillions of times.

Overall it was crap and trailers should not be considered game cinematics in the first place.
 
What, crap? I think the two Warcraft III cinematics in there are worthy of every praise they receive. Especially Arthas' Betrayal which is by far my favorite cinematic ever.
 
Granted some awesome ones are in there which are quite good and worthy of the title. These are overwhelmed by the amount of utter crap however, and hence make the whole thing a joke.

I mean how the **** can you take this seriously even if you were a halo fan.

I love mgs,I love it's cinematics, but if mgs and every commercial it had was there I would trow up.

Three Halo cinematics (one trailer, doesn't count, load of bullshit)
Three WoW cinematics
Three FF cinematics

What's the problem? I agrre, the Halo cinematics shouldn't be there, though.
 
I was amazed there was no HL2 mention, until I realized (before I read the thread, I swear!) that HL2 didn't have any cinematics :|

However, Diablo II needed to be in there. The LoD cinematic was nothing short of incredible
 
The last scene in Mafia wasn't even number one, let alone on the list. That whole list is pure bullshit and is now the top 25 worst video cinematic moments.
