I was planning to get either a Sennheiser PC155 or PC165 (link) for use in BF2, but since I plan to use the headphones for listening to music and watching DVDs also I wanna know how good gaming-oriented headsets are at playing music and DVDs. If they suck at playing music I might consider getting a seperate headset ($$$ :() for listening to music. Can someone with more knowledge of this area please enlighten me?

the sennheisers are probably fine- any others and you would want to be looking at a seperate pair of headphones for music/ movies etc.

according to gamespot the PC155 supposed doesn't have much treble, not sure about the PC165 though.

I have the Sennheiser HD 280s for my iPod, and they sound like a dream. In my experience, Sennheiser makes very good headphones.

Haha...man, i just got a new logitech headset today 'cause my old one died :(. All my rock, and heavy metal sound like shit now :( Ive been messing with all my sound settings and nothing seems to help. I dont think this is really on topic but this is just pissing me off.....

yeah I know Sennheisers music headphones rock but I'm worried about how their gaming headsets will handle music, I've heard plenty of less than stellar remarks about their music-playing capabilities.
