Gangland demo out.

Well i was looking through fileplanet for some modding tools i needed and i saw an ad on the frontpage about the gangland demo being released. I had heard a bit about this game before and seeing how i loved the "gangsters: organized crime" games i thought this game might be fun. Read a few reviews and it looks pretty good, not to mention it has multiplayer... the demo was great. Nothing better than hiring goons and then duking it out against mobsters, random civilians and cops (sometimes all at the same time!). The game's a blast and it's pretty hard too at some points. The full game will have NINJAS (hahaha awesome) and lawyers to do your dirty work, along with a lot of other things. The drive throughs are awesome too...

All in all... this is one of the best games i've played in a while... very original, a nice break from all the shooters coming out this year. I recommend everyone at least give it a try :thumbs:

THe demo was released several days ago ffs.

I like it alot... Except for the cheezy dialogue and overly complex gui.

Its got some stupid things too. Like the fact you can only run with enough stamina. That wasnt *really* neccesary in a game like this... And the fact you cant kill anyone at will. Also the police was on me like flies on horsecrap just because I accidentally stepped into their policestation. Sure, I've heard of police brutality, but not for entering the policestation!

Heh, actually you can shoot anyone you want by pressing CTRL while having a character selected. Just select, hold down ctrl and then target whatever you wanna kill

I also like the police sometimes... i think they attack you because you're carrying guns into the police station. It's fun to watch random mobsters fight against the police and each other...
