Garrys Mod 10

I bought Garrys Mod 10 the other day..with Counter Strike Source etc
I downloaded this installed the main gmod.7z file.
I load single player...loads without any problems.
But when I start playing the phsx gun doesn't show up its just a blue light..
None of the Half Life 2 guns show up when i select them to use..it just doesn't show the gun but i can fire it and stuff!
NONE OF THE HL2 FILES SHOW!!!
NO NPC'S CHARACTERS!!
NO RAGDOLLS!!
NO MODELS !
NOTHING SHOWS UP!!!!!

Please can someone help me and tell me how to correct this problem..

Do you have hl2 installed..?

I don't know how GMod works really, but this isn't exactly the right forum to post this thread, I believe. Let a moderator move it though, don't post duplicate threads.

yes i have Half Life 2 installed..

I have everything required to play Garrys Mod installed.. but its just nothing shows up in game..

I really want to play Garrys Mod 10 now..i only recently purchased it from Garrys Mod 9..so as it doesnt work.. you can imagine how frustrating it is..

And sorry about the post..i only joined this site 8 minutes ago...

You downloaded Garrys Mod 10 in a zip type file...which means it is not a legal copy...so take your questions elsewhere...

OMG.....lol uhh ive been asking everyone where i can get g mod 10 at i can't find on steam and i can't find anywhere on the internet for $10 so can anyone help me out here?
