Please, can anyone explain to me the diference between GART, chipset AGP controller, chipset AGP driver, AGP driver and AGP adaptor? Considering that I got all these terms right.. Otherwise, correct me please. Thanks!!!!
AFAIK
GART stands for Graphics Aperture Relocation Table.
Basicly it remaps your Apeture from virtual to physical memory.
AGP controller is the northbridge chip.
The chipset AGP and AGP drivers are just that, drivers for the chipset and how it handles the AGP port.
Your AGP adaptor is your card.
