'Gate 2' Xmas Map Preview

The Source follow on from the Mod 'The Gate' - 'The Gate 2' has released a Christmas Update. 'The Gate' used mixed inspiration from Sci-Fi sagas such as Star Gate and Time Portal, while also presenting the player with Classical Music Scores; lets hope 'Gate 2' lives up to its father's fame.

Merry Christmas everyone!

For a Christmas treat I've released some shots of the latest map I'm working on, its still very early in development but is coming along very nicely. It's a huge part of the story this map so I have to get it just right!

The map is still very early in development around a week but I hope there is enough 'eye candy' to keep you going over Christmas...

Its not the most professional mod, but the plot of the first one seemed to be quite good, even if they did use Stock Models etc...

This might be my OCD talking... but those cars are floating. And some textures are missing on the gun in the first screen shot.
As I browsed through the images, it seems there are some highly detailed areas and some... not-so-highly detailed areas. It kind of makes some areas stand out. I'm nit-picky, so ignore me. I'll decide for myself when this one is released.

Ya the van does appear floating and im pretty sure the checker stuff on the mp5 isnt meant to be a feature Promising start tbh/ Now get some 3d skyboxes in there!

Seems a bit bland sometimes. :|
They need more rounded corners, more real architecture instead of hard blocks. Textures are good, though.
