I want to thank everyone that came by our booth last week at GDC in San Francisco. It was really encouraging to hear everyone's overwhelming enthusiasm and support for what we at Noesis Interactive are doing. Casey and I left really fired up and we can?t wait to get back work and put together more products for you guys.

For those that didn't see us hanging out behind the Softimage booth at GDC, or couldn?t make it to the conference all together, I want to let you all know that we officially have FOUR new Mod Your World? discs available.

The one that people have been asking about since day one is finally here. Yes, Advance Level Design for Source powered games if now available. This disc is 8.5 hours of pure Hammer. NO 3D EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!! The disc is jammed packed full information and we have only heard good things from those who purchased the disc at GDC.

Custom Props & Animation for Source Powered Games is another really phenomenal disc that covers how to bring your levels to life by modeling props in SoftimageXSI or importing premade 3d models from the web, then assigning them attributes or animation, and compiling them for Half Life 2. If you want to learn how to design a prop that will break into pieces when you shoot it, this disc is for you. The disc also covers how to script triggers to make your custom levels truly rich and dynamic experiences.

If you are interested in evolving your characters beyond the preset animations available to you in the SourceSDK then you will want to check out Advanced Character Animation with SOFTIMAGE|XSI for Half-Life 2. In this disc you will be bringing your character to life by animating or applying motion capture data to your own custom design characters within Half-Life 2. It's also the perfect disc if you are interested in Machinima.

Last but not least, we have ported our Character Integration disc to Maya because the last thing we want to do is have Maya users feel left out. If you are determined to stick with Maya and you want to develop your own Source Mods then be sure to get this disc.

That's all for now folks. Stay tuned as we will have more free tutorials on the website in the coming weeks, and if you missed it make sure to check out the FREE facemapping tutorial for Half Life 2 as well as the demo for Character Design & Integration with Half-Life 2.

I wouldn't use the dreaded A-word

more like community notification and a show of gratitude.

We have products that can really make a difference for people who want to mod or get into game development.

Seeing as we are a few gamers putting all this stuff together, we don't the deep pockets to A-word all over the web.

Hopefully my post isn't offensive. I assure you many people we be glad they read it.
