http://www.gametrailers.com/gt_vault/t_brothersinarms_e3_2k4_demo.html you may have seen it but give it another go, just look at that games interface.. I literally cannot wait for this game.

dear god a "situational awareness view" and supression icons as well as possibly the simplest yet most deep squad manuvering / supression system I have ever seen.. everythign is so F#$(* detailed.. from the reloads cover fire supression fire.. squad based wwII made simple like a mix of GR/HALO/H&D

too bad I cant afford all these kickass games. :|

I absolutely cannot believe that demo is the xbox.. look at how gorgeous and how well that performed... nice gearbox very nice.. that game just looks better and better.. im so so excited for it.

they gave each other a hoah at the end it was halarious.. :) they seem like nice guys at gearbox.. reminds me of Bungie :)

mehh.. im tired of WWII games. :|
im not doubting that the game will be good...infact it looks sweet but i am surprised pple have not gotten bored of all the WWII games out there with more coming.

last WW game i bought was COD and i promised myself i wouldn't get another WW game...hmm.. theres other good games coming out soon and since i have to watch how spend my extra $$$.. this game is one i probably won't buy.

mindless wwII spawnfest sh!t games are getting extremely tiresome, but squadbased war historical shooters are few and far between and frankly until now I have never been interested in squad based historical shooters :) so i'm damn excited :D

Me Too! Me Likes! But...i cant help noticing that the character animations sucked/were not smooth when they were running and stuff...But then again the games got a ways to go so shut up me.
Yay Brothers In Arms! All Hail Gearbox...oh yea and that Valve bunch of idio--guys too. :p

that.was.awesome.

best ww2 game I have seen, ever.

edit: usually I'm tired of ww2 games as well, but this I've got to play. The moment you think you've won the mission by capturing that machine gun, and all of a sudden that german tank appears through the hedge is really scary..

And the tactics the enemy / allies use are breathtaking. You can really see they've done their homework by hiring a WW2 vet, by using aerial reconnaisance pictures, by visiting the real Carentin in Normandy.

I thought the aerial overview thing was great, added a sort of RTS element to it.

And how'd you like that distant view of carentin while the uss texas was bombing it? SImply brilliant.

Thanks BHC for showing this, I wasn't aware this was such a great game

that game, wow. i'd never seen that before. that is gonna blow all other ww2 games out of the water.

Yep. It looks like Call of Duty is not going to be king of the heap anymore

o_O

wow, that looks amazing. I cant wait for that to come out, its gonna blow Call of Duty away

Anyone who is a fan of Band of Brothers will recognize the town of Carentan. As in the book they talk about that cross-road and the tanks coming through the hedges.

It is really nice to see a developer that does more backround on a game than just realistic tactics and weapons, how they recreated that area outside Carentan is amazing, although I didn't like how the German just ran down the stairs and knifed the guy, a cool animation woulda been nice.

the video fotage was amazing, the commentary was cheesy hehe...
anyway, i thought this game was gunna be average, guess i was wrong!

yeah I kinda thought the historical consultant hadn't played a game in his life.. most of those shots were straight ahead and pretty not-impressive :p oh well the guy playing was extremely cool and im sure the historical guy was just trying to make the demo more fun for the guys at the demonstration

Did he have to say good shot for every person he killed ? :|...anyways, it looked pretty kewl :)

I think it's a proprietary engine, but noone knows for usre, the developers keep it quiet

its using the unreal 2.5 engine you lovely people that I have an enormous amount of respect and indeed, love, for.

:)

I got to see this game in action over the summer when I was at Million Man Lan......

This game is gonna kick some serious ass!! Unfortunately the guy presenting the game didn't let us play the game, however he did show us that exact scene as he played through it. It didn't happen quite like that video, but it was still kick ass!

Saw this footage back in E3. Looks ace, blows any WW II shooter away.

Yeh looks fecking class, can't wait to get my hands on this one. When's it out? Any dates? :D

Meh, the next WWII game I'll buy must have geomod.

Saw that video few months back. Not into war games but it does look pretty good.

it seemed that it was kind of unfair that you could take all those shots and your teammates could only take about two :/

When the guy said "good shot" for the 100th time I felt like screaming.

This looks like what I wish Full Spectrum Warrior would've been. The squad leading element is there, but you are also a part of the action. They even had symbols over enemies' heads like in FSW. I like the situational awareness as well. Carentan being attacked was a cool sight to see in the distance.

The thing that stood out to me most was the AI. I liked how it adjusted to the guy's moves and such. I haven't seen counter-tactics like that in a game.

Gonna watch this one for sure.

Old trailer, but kickass nonetheless.

Yes, indeed this game will be the best WW2 game to date, me thinks. So far I'm going to have to say COD:UO takes the cake, but I haven't played that many WW2 shooters.

Alas, my gaming wish list increases yet once more. Damn, I want this game. Now.

OMFG...just because of that video I am going to put $50 down on the game now. I liked how the military guy knew what to do, and the developer just wanted to do cool stuff but kept screwing up. So it looks like it really does use real life tactics from that time.
