Geforce 2 MX 400 =(

I've been reading some of the "overclocking" threads now and got intrested... does anyone now if there is any good prog or way to overclock or clock my Geforce 2 ?

And another thing is that it have a AMD Athlon 1700XP that i want to clock to 2000XP... Anyone that holds on valuable information about how i should go on with clocking my proc and my Geforce?

I would be very thankful...

for the videocard:
1) get a new one
2) Failing that, search google for coolbits.reg and run that and then you can overclock your card.

i have the same card, sadly, and its very easy to overclock. download 'coolbits' and adjust the clock frequencies. overclocking is tough with no heatsinks or fans, though. for me, i dont notice a difference. buy a new card for hl2.

I say get a new one. A GeForce 4 costs $40 nowadays. I wouldn't try over-clocking to take on the new games, won't be worth it.

Plus, it would be hard finding an article on overclocking a GF 2, but you can try overclockers.com or [H]ardOCP's website for info. Still, wouldn't recommend it.

A gforce4 MX and a gf2 are basically the same thing.

I've already ordered a new card (ATI radeon 9800PRO 128Mb) that i should have in my hand about tomorrow or so... the thing is that i have another computer (P2, 400Mhz, 128Mb SDram) with a Riva TNT 2.. it would be good if i could put in my Current Gf2 in my old computer and overclock it a bit so i can play atleast some games over the network...
