I knw thts been much debate about this subject but i;m still have a few questions. My computer is a Athlon 64 3200+, 512Mb RAM, and a GeForce 6800 Ultra. I'm a little new to PC gaming but i;ve been told i have a good enough computer to run HL2 at full details. its clear that Nvidia have been working close to the Doom3 producers to make sure they get the maximum power out of the engine with the new 6800 range. and tht is the exactly reason i purchased my 6800 Ultra. and in recent beanchmarks by Hardcop it has shown that both the 6800 Ultra and the 6800 GT have out performed the X800 XTPE. This worries me since i'm sure that ATi are doing the same with Half Life 2. lets jus say the game is released and the best performance is only achieved the the X800 range since both manufactuers are in competition. Any thoughts on this? Also do you think i should upgrade my computer or will a gt good results on HL2.
