GErr WTF!? annoying

was wonding if any one can help me when some bloody annoying that thats happening to my pc. for some reason this random shitty website keeps becoming my defult webpage. even if i set google or use:blank as the defult after a cople of hours this one will be back. i have used addware spy bot and norton to try and get rid of it but nothing seems to be working

^ that is the web address which is set as the defult which seems to link to the one shown in the pic... pic looks dogy coz i had to cut loads off to make it less then 100 kb but im sure you can see what it is... crap :/

as you can guess this is really really really annoying, not only is it a stupid bloody colour which blinds you every time you turn it on but it means i have to type in www.google.com every time i wanna do something and generaly i hate stuff that forces you to use some sort of software and add ware crap like this .. :flame:

I had something like that, but worse... when I opened IE it replaced my desktop with this webpage thing, telling me that I needed to download the spyware program another popup was advertising. Then this yellow box popped up saying that if that desktop thing stays I had a trojan, or something... I managed to clean it all up though (I hope...)

Stop using Internet Explorer immediately.

Download Mozilla Firefox or Opera. I haven't had problems with trojans, popups and other weird stuff sneaking through IE for ages since i haven't used it in almost a year.

what about favorates etc ? can they be transfured or does it pick them all up from the favorates file ?

No they don't, but trust me its worth it. I became a beliver around a month and a half ago, and I transfered ALL my favourites manually to firefox. IT IS 110%.... no 1000% better then piece of shit IE.

I only ever use Opera and yes you can transfer all of your favorites over. It has the option to import them from all the popular browsers so that you can have them in Opera.

Tabbed browsing, quick google search box, popup-blocking, downloads sidebar, and a bunch of other stuff.

I'm never going back to IE again, woohoo!
