Get it or not?

Get it, simply because it is great.
There aren't as many bugs as the hype makes out, but what bugs there are will be terminated with the next patch (i hope)
The sheer joy of sneaking up behind a sniper and knifing or defribbing his ass :E
The squad combat really works well. Use xfire and join with some of the other guys for a very good experiance, or me if you wana get a taste of clan teamwork
So many other great reasons to get this game, just get it

Download the demo and try playing that.
I played the demo for like 10 minutes before I decided to drive to the store and just buy the whole thing. The game is awesome. In fact, do yourself what I should have done - Don't even waste your time downloading the demo, just go get the game.. It's great..
I've played games before like CS Source and I'm sure you've played many multiplayer games as well. The thing about this game is it's not just deathmatch. It's like a crazy huge combination of an awesome tank game, an awesome atv game, an awesome helicopter game, an awesome fighter jet game, and an awesome FPS war game!
Seriously, the maps are huge and much cooler than the lame pictures you see online. It's fun as hell flying all over the terrain in a little buggy on the way to a battle. If you die, just spawn back and hop in a jet and go bomb the guy who killed you. Theres no waiting for a round to end.. and you can do whatever you want. Want to be a solo sniper or a lone wolf special ops and pull off dangerous solo missions? Go for it. Want to be a medic? You can do that too. Assault gunner and rusher?
All in all, this is just the best multiplayer shooter because your options are limitless. The graphics are sick, the gameplay is intense and most of all, its FUN.

Providing you're someone who can deal with stress okay, it should be fine. The patches are quite annoying, but I really enjoy the game when I get into it. Yes, I would certainly get it, but be aware that the actual product itself isn't quite at the quality you might expect from most games. The actualy game, however, is exceptional when it goes right.

If you haven't already get Xfire and start adding everybody here so you can play with us whenever wer're on. Playing with people you know is much better than by yourself (even playing by yourself is still generally fun unless you hit a string of bad servers and crappy players - then it gets discouraging).
