Six Three, pretty sure you need to have the appropriate rights to do that ;) lol

/me wants a link before he will belive any of this....

aww, what the hell, i hardly ever act gullable.

[sarcasm] YAY!!! [/sarcasm]

::Whistles:: anyhow, I still haven't played through DX:IW

It's a good game in my opinion, and from the rumours I hear, Theif: DS looks to be true to it's bloodline :)

ooohh... a link.... edios forum...
ok, now this one doesnt have the sarcasm tags ;)

YAY!!

Invisible War kicked ass. I don't know why people bitch so much about that game. It had impressive graphics, great plot, somewhat innovative upgrading system, and it was fairly long with a lot of replay value. It's certainly better than the vast majority of games that pass for being good. The only flaws I see in it is somewhat poor coding and in some ways it fell short of the original, but on it's own it's great.

Thief looks to be a good game as well. They took the same graphics engine and improved the coding, so it will at least provide for a good game on the technical side. The rest I can't speak for, I haven't even played the older games.

i agree, i thought dx:iw is/was great! loved it. i spent so many hours messing with physics. ... of course that doesn't MAKE a game, but it added to the immersion and enjoyment. especially unscripted sequences that ruled b/c of physics.

I can't understand how anyone could have liked DX:IW, hell I could barely get it playing properly (and my PC is top of the line, so it wasn't that). Anyway, I'm hoping Thief:DS can live up to it's predecessors, I have a feeling however that it may end up falling short of the mark by quite a bit.

It's a good game, but very demanding. My PC can handle Far Cry on high graphics with hardly any slowdown, wheras Deus Ex 2 on medium is laggy enough to actually affect the gameplay. Still, back to the topic at hand, which I believe has been paraphrased very well already:

This thread is about the new Thief game, not Invisible War. Most people know my views on IW, so I won't get into anything now... that would just be hypocritical :p

So yeah, back on topic please.

I just watched the new trailer they released for it, and despite it starting good, it got really cheesy at the end with some crappy voice over ruining it all as if it was an add for a Film. There was in game footage shown too and it looked so... whats the word... xbox. I really think this will be the end of Thiefs 'no crap to be had here' Legacy. I'm preparing for another IW.

The end of the trailer says its coming out May 26th so yippy we will see shortly.
