Getting a DS...

My friend who works in wholesale is getting me a brand new black DS for 50 bucks. My question is, what games should i get? I dont normally play handhelds, but for 50 bucks i simply could not pass up the offer. He said he'll get me whatever games i want for 15 bucks a pop and once again i couldnt pass it up. What are some OOBER AWESUM GAMEZ for the DS?

If you like stratagy games Advance Wars DS is a must (Fantastic game). Metroid is also very good and feels like a PC FPS (except your thumbs get sore).

I really need to pick up Advance Wars Dual Strike

New Super Mario Bros. is pretty kickass, as is Kirby and the Canvas Curse. Metroid Prime Hunters is really good, but I got bored of it mighty fast.

I don't have DS but I can recomend you Metroid Prime Hunters (sci-fi FPS) and Trauma Center: Under the Knife (Japanese surgical simulation).

Also get Brain Age. It's really fun, surprisingly.

Look forward to Dragon Quest IX, FFXII Revenant Wings, Heroes of Mana, Hotel Dusk: Room 215, Undercover: Dual Motives, Sinking Island and Professor Layton and the Mysterious Village.

Advance Wars: Dual Strike (DS... LOL, PUN!)
It's just great, the campaign is challenging, and it gets really gay when your up against something thats impossible to kill..

Advance Wars Dual Strike is a MUST, even though it's supposedly 'easier' than previous games. (It is, but you can make it more challenging).

Electroplankton or Oendan/Elite Beat Agents would be good too.

Electroplankton is really cool. I don't think it's quite worth full price, but I got it used, and I love it, it's so quirky

If you like advance wars, then definately get Age of Empires. That game is awesome. For silly quick fun, definately get WarioWare.

I'm looking into getting the lawyer game and surgeon game. They both look pretty fun.

In a word? Awesome. Its a very different gaming experience and one that should not be missed by anyone with a DS.

I just finished the second episode. IT'S FUXING BRILLIANT. Don't miss out, it's really really good. It's a totally different sort of game, too.

Yoshi's Touch and Go is still my most played DS game, and the one I go back to once whatever recent title is finished. Stll the best use of the stylus and dual screens on the DS - great game.
