Getting a Server

I'm thinking about running a TF2 server but I'm after your opinions please.

Could it be used as a 2nd HL2.NET server? (Directed at the admin I guess)

What are the top companies to do this through? (I'm UK based)

How many slots do you think I should get?

What maps would you put in the rotation?
