getting saved games to show up im menu

hi recently upgraded my pc to 64 bit and started using xpx64 i reinstalled hl2 and then added my saved games and config folders and the game saved screens will not show up when i tried to reload them in the game. i really dont want to have to redo the whole game from scratch. is there something that i am doing wrong or does the fact that i switch from 32 bit to 64 bit make any difference in the game save files?

Well you have two choices on this:

1) Replay all over.

Or

2) Unlock all chapters as in cheat like and continue from where you left it.

I don't think moving saved files from previous Win32 OS to Win64 OS will work. At least not to my knowledge.
