I'm bored, my net sucks, i have no money to spend on games, and my cd-rom nor dvd-rom works.

Someone gimme 20 bucks so I can buy Jagged Alliance 2 thru Steam or suggest a good free single player game.

There's this one game, called bittorrent.

It's pretty sweet.

Five Finger Discount is a fun game as well.
 
Deus Ex 1. The conspiracy storyline flows perfectly, non-linear gameplay provides many options for players who don't like to follow one path, and of course a high replayability factor.
 
There's this one game called Life that I have been playiong for a while now. Its basically a traditional RPG, but in first person like Oblivion, but you don't need a mega-powerful PC to get great performance. There are some really cool environments and TONS of NPCs to talk to and a bazillion side-quests--and its totally open-ended! I can't believe how many lines of dialogue there are! It should work to waste some of your time while you wait for other games to come out, but it takes a little while to get into--it took me like 19 years to really start loving it! Overall, I'd give it a 9.8 out of 10 so far. :thumbs:
 
Worms World Party is like 5-10 bucks now and hella fun :>

Really? I heard it was impressive in terms of scope, but alot of people found it kind of inaccessible and hard to get into. Also the save feature is supposedly pretty lacklustre, and alot of players find the perma-death system is too harsh and diminishes replayability.

Oh well, I'll have to see if I can grab a demo one of these days :)

I have seen horses in-game, but never actually interacted, so it could be that the AI is really weak.

Plus, depending on what skills you level up, you can get jobs that even let you play mini-games that affect your environment, like the City Planner can acutally bring up a very Sim-City experience and let you design a metropolitan area or the Escort which lets you into A LOT of private residences. Very cool stuff....

Yah, but I'm stuck in that game. I moved to this place called Idaho and they wont let me leave until I get enough gold.

JA2 top tip - dont get an internet download version. Its incompatible with ALL of the mods.
