The usual suspects, I'd say: Bioshock and Crysis. Company of Heroes looks great too with all the graphics maxed out.

Crysis may look good, but it has shitty gameplay. COD4 on the other hand has amazing visuals and gameplay with tons of replayability.

It's not as demanding for Beerdude's new rig though. In this thread graphics > gameplay.

Ran great though, 40-50 fps at 1280x1024 with everything maxed out at DX9

BTW you have such a kick ass rig, why the low res? I hope it's not because of a small monitor, because with that money you could have bought yourself a nice 20/22 inch monitor.

My LCD died out, currently using a CRT monitor. Getting the cash for a decent LCD now

Aye i want a larger screen too, hate being restricted to 1280x1024. I want to see what my 8800gt is really capable of at higher DX9 res.

But thats quite the impressive rig you got there.

One thing I found really demanding was maxing out the Portal depth in Portal (2 is the default, 9 is the max). I'm not exactly sure whether that stresses the CPU or GPU but it would still be cool to try.
