Anybody go/planned on going? What were the highlights for you?

For me it was Muse, they were awesome! A nice way to end it

Ahg wtf reading is rubbish only good bands that are playing are 50 cent and jurassic 5. And i would only see 50 cent to laugh at him :S

Reading has always been the tiny festival that's a bit wanky. Unfortunately Glastobury is going the same way - a far cry from how it used to be :'(

Did anyone go Glastobury's 25th anniversary ? (1995 I think it was) That was a sweet festival The sun shone brightly for 5 great days of complete lunacy \o/

On the night we arrived it was pitch black and everyone was already half fooked. Unfortunately, there wasn't a tent space to be found - that was untill my mate anounced that he'd found a 'massive field with all the space in the world'. About four hours later, half way through a massive chong, we heard laughing and shouts from outside our tent, gruff voices ordering us 'get the **** out of here'. Outside the tent were what I can only describe as roadies from hell. We'd managed to pitch the tent infront of the main stage

On the last day, while staggering about the healing field, I bumped into 2 stoner girls with their tits hanging out (XD) They invited me and a m8 back to this massive tent, inside which was a big turkish bath filled semi clad hippies. It wouldn't have been so bad, but there were some real crusties in there, and the water looked like tea :/

I know there was a fair ground big wheel there, and topless bungee jumping definately happened at some point. There were dealers walking about everywhere with plastic bags full of weed, shouting their wares to passers-by. But that's all I can remember really :'( (happy days)

The Last time I went to Glastonbury (2001 ish) i noticed how 'organised' it had become - people with shiny white trainers were everywhere, as were the police, you had to wear wrist bands, the stages were surrounded by fences and gates:/, the food was actually hot and the toilets got emptied :/ People were actually going for the music :? It was then I decided then to hang up my festival boots and call it a day.

//edit The Phoenix festival (97 I think) was also excellent, but for some reason was never repeated.

Anyone else make either of these two?
