Glitch of Hell

Endlessly i have been trying to fix this VERY annoying glitch i have had since i bought the Geforce 6800 GT, previously i owned a Geforce FX 5700 256MB card and this did not happen. This also happens in CS:S i have tried countless drivers and messed with endless options, and nothing seems to fix this problem, does anyone know how to fix this, it would be nice to play HL2 and CS:S with out this glitch ruining the whole game.

make sure you have the latest drivers on, try to berify your hl2/css/source gfc cache. you can get the links from steampowered.com -> support and keyword "verify".

Try this:

Turn up your resolution, and enable the max possible AA and AF. It might not fix your problem, but it makes for one helluva wall
