I don't remember what it's called, but it's on Discovery channel pretty soon.

I can't say what time, or if it really will be on in your area, but Mythbuster's is on and if Mythbusters is on in your area, the show should come after.

The snippet said 9pm, and it's 7pm here, so it's either gonna be 2 hours, or it's Pacific time and gonna be on in one hour.

Point of telling you this is there is a chance we might learn something new on the subject.

Generally people don't go out of their way to get information, so here is your cue.

I'm hoping they are going to dispel the CO2 myth.

Interesting information on feedback loops. As heat-reflecting ice melts, exposing heat absorbing dark colored ground or water bodies, ice melts faster and thus less heat is reflected.

They are saying CO2 isn't playing as vital a role as initially believed, which I like.

yes, about the feedback loop. There is also another feedback loops concerning forests. Forests naturally release methane for some reason, and this process is accelerated by increased heat. Methane itself is greenhouse gas, so as C02 increases the temperature slightly, the trees are compelled to release more methane, and then the methane acts as an even more potent greenhouse gas, warming the surface of the earth more, and thus compelling the trees to release more methane.

Do you have a source confiriming this? It sounds very interesting. Even if you don't I'll probably look for one...

it was in discover magazine. It was a part of their side columns where they report new discoveries. They said just recentley an experiment was done in a closed, unventilated room free of methane, and it showed that methane was produced by the plant. They then slowly increased the temperature on several groups and found that there was a direct correlation between heat and methane emission.
