Hello everyone :)
Is there anybody here who is a Gmail (Google Mail) Beta Tester? If there is, I was wondering whether he/she could invite me (my email is [email protected]), I am very interested in trying out the Gmail beta version.
 
/me wishes insant-bans were handed out for everyone begging for G-Mail accts.
 
Here all members who have 300 posts and up got invitations, most of us are beta testers, but I allready gave my invitation to another guy, sorry!
 
:x Arrrrrgh, I have had my account for like 2 weeks, I still don't have the ability to send invites! Have they decided to notl et people send invites>!!!?!?!?!?W11111111111111111

I signed up to give my invite to an American soldier but I never got an e-mail back about it.
 
What the hell is everyone scream for a gmail invite for? What is so special about 1 gig of storage?
 
:naughty: Because it is rare to have at the moment.
 
I barely use e-mails anyway. I'll stick with the 2mb or whatever limit I have.
 
I WANT TO GET INVITES!!!!! why doesn't gmail let me invite ppl?!?! ([email protected]) would it be possible for someone to send me an invite and me forward it to my best friend?!
 
I have received approximately 5 invites so far, my account has about 2 months.

Don't get your hopes up, spent them all and there's already more in line.

In a happier note, the more you use it the more invites you get. So please, everyone that wants a Gmail account send me an e-mail. If your e-mail gives me an invite, I'll send it back to ya.

Well for me i love the conversation view for emails, so much better than looking at each one individually.

Also, because i belong to a yahoo group it means i can browse their emails list like a message board, and search threw it (it's a Q & A group) very fast.

The gig of storage will help, in 1 week i'm using 2MB, so if i stay a member of the group before long it'll add up.
 
1 gig storage comes in handy when I wanna send my holiday pictures to my friends and relatives. I've already used up 200mb with pics.
 
Is it true that Gmail has a 2mb limit on attachments? i have an account but i cant find out anywhere and i dont want to send someone a 2meg file :P
Gmails so fast, its kool :) And sorry, i got no invites... if i do get any they'll go to real life friends first, then il post.
 
2mb as in you can only recieve attachments with 2mb or 2mb as in you can only send 2mb attachments?

I was doing some prank calls the other day on my friends computer, and i recorded it (i was using a soundboard from the web) anyway, there were 9 files, i emailed them to myself through gmail, as 9 different attachments, which added up to more than 20mb, so each attachment might be 2mb, but you can have many attachments that add up to more than 2mb.
