GMail (Google Mail) problem

Not really hardware of software but closest section I could find...

When you create labels and stuff, is it possible so when you recieve an e-mail from a certain person or containing a word it goes into that label like a folder and does not show in the inbox?

Can't see how to do it. Thanks.

Yes.

Go to Settings on the top right, go to Filters and create a new one. Follow the steps.

Google doesnt allow custom folders. Apply a label via a filter and tell it to skip the inbox (it goes staight into the archives) then you can use the label to view only those messages and they wont show in the inbox.
