so i saw the horror that was the 3rd matrix movie and though, "wow, mr smith is a lot like the gman". so who does he most reminde u of? the smoking man from the x files, ur dad, a general guy form MIB?

The Matrix 1, 2 and 3 rocked. He reminds me a lot of himself though.

Lots of people thinks that Matrix 2 and 3 sucked, but I myself really liked them.
Ok so Matrix 1 was better, but that doesn't mean they suck, no?

right. lots of people expected way too much from the movies. i also was kinda disappointed after part 2, but the ump and the cadillacs balanced that feeling :D

so i went into part 3 without expectations and felt way better... 9mm ump and browning bda's rock :D

all in all, they are all kilometers above average movie levels.

matrix 3;s ending SUCKED, but they did it in the best possible way they could. the stories wre bs for the matrix 2 and 3 films, but they executed the crap storys perfectly, if that makes sense.

Only part I greatly disliked about The Matrix was how Gloria Foster died, so they had to change the oracle in the third movie.. made me sad :(

You guys actually liked Matrix 2 and 3?

*slowly starts backing out of this thread*

The Matrix
The Matrix Reloaded
The Matrix Revolutions

:bounce:^Great trilogy^:bounce:

Though I thought Reloaded was the best.

agreed :)

Hugo Weaving reminds me of the smoking man from the X-files and the G-man as a few of u have mentioned.

weird, isn't it?

He doesn't really remind me of anyone to be honest.

On a side note, I loved the 1st and 2nd Matrix, but just hated the first one. It looks like they were right at the end of writing the script and just though "Ah f*ck this, lets just throw out some vague shit about religion, the audience will figure it out"

Agent Smith: "You must help Frodo reach Mount Doom! Oh.. crap, wrong movie!"

Right, Shuzer, whenever Elve-Hugo appeared in LotR I hardly could surpress the thougt of him pulling out a Desert Eagle and start calling out 'Mister Andersooon!' :D

The g-man does remind me of Agent Smith espically in the g-man movie. Espically when he says 'Mr. Freeman' That reminds me alot of Smith saying 'Mr. Anderson' constantly to neo.

Baah, the G-Man reminds me of a very-much aged version of my alter-ego. Just, Angry Lawyer wears a black suit, has a maroon tie, and is able to kick lots of ass.
And whenever Agent Smith appeared in The Matrix, my father would always pipe up with 'The ring must be destroyed.' and 'Cast it into the flames, Isildur!!!'. Guhh.

-Angry Lawyer

He reminds me of me after a long party at one of my freinds house, come stumbling into the house with stubble on my face, smelling like lots of different smokes, drinks, and bodily fluid...

But thats just me...
