Ok well I got HL2 and I was so excited and I could hardly wait to install it.
At first everything goes well... until it asks for CD-Key. So I try to put it in, and it's "invalid", so I tried for about 30 minutes. I get so mad... then I realize the extra numbers after it aren't part of the CD-Key. How the hell am I supposed to know? Damn crap... ok let's carry on.
"Registering CD-Key with steam..." AIM Crashes. Steam freezes.
"Steam is too busy"
"Invalid account"
"Steam closes for no apparent reason"
wtf????
So I load HL2 from the start menu. Nothing happens.
I load it again...
Steam loads and I go thru the whole thing again. I probly forgot to mention like 90 other things that made me so mad. No manual. No case. Argggg when I pay for a game I expect to be able to PLAY IT!!!!!!!! JEEZ!!
"Your subscription has NOT been completed... blah blah you can play in the mean time".
Play my ass. Every time I try to play it loads steam and gives me the run-around. You would think they would install this once on someones computer to make sure its a SMOOTH process and not some POS
