Going away for the summer?

Well, apparently, my girlfriend is going to Dallas to live with her uncle for the summer. It was basically a no brainer as to why she should go. He's offering her 200$ a month and buying her a car just so she can stay at his amazing house and watch his dogs for the 5 days he works during the week.

So basically I've decided I'm going to live down there as well with my sister who lives in Addison and is about 10 minutes away from her. I'm actually excited for a change of scenery. I'll have to drive me car down there though. UGH. 20+ hour drive.. for a 3rd time = NO FUN. But I have a feeling it's going to be completely worth it. I ****ing love this girl.


Anyway, anyone else going away for the summer?

I'm bored. I'm tired. I'm disheartened. I'm excited. I'm confused.

I needed something to do.

Hopefully, a week with my friend in May or June travelling around the UK by motorcycle, taking in all the national parks between South Wales and North Yorkshire. And another week in August with a group of friends also on the bikes in Scotland.

We were thinking of going to France or Spain for the first trip but this country has plenty to offer that we've never seen and I've never really explored north of Birmingham, so may as well take advantage of it.

Dangit. You're making me jealous. I've been staring at Google Earth for weeks wishing I could go to Eastern Europe.

Man... Shamrock. Those Addison street lights ****ing suck. I was down in some part near Addison the other day near the airport... and we were driving down a long street trying to get towards the freeway.

We got stopped by a red light... and subsequently every time the light we were at turned green and we got close to the next light, it turned red. That went on 5 more times, at EVERY SINGLE LIGHT all the way up to the freeway.

****ing annoying. Most of the time there's a more continuous stream of green lights.

The actual streets in Addison are nice though... kind of weird seeing parallel parking spots.
