Any folks who've been taken to/taken people to Small Claims court in the UK care to share any advice/experiences...

:|

Wear a NWA shirt that says F**K THA POLICE if you're lucky the magistrate will be like "Aw man that song was a jam. Innocent!"

that is the only tip I have

First one to guess what he did gets my own personal "thumbs up"

Oh, and a piece of advice, don't lose.

Prepare a compelling argument prior to the court session, etc.

Take a DS and a copy of Phoenix Wright, and keep shouting "OBJECTION!" into the mic.

I'm guessing either violence or being drunk & disorderly.

Best advice I can give is get some good friends to be <those people who stand up in court and say you're a real nice guy>. If that applies to the crime... I have no idea.

I don't think either of those charges are grounds for small claims court, unless he damaged someone's property while intoxicated.

The legal system is a mystery to me. :P

Im 100% sure that this had liquor involved.

My advice... watch some Judge Joe Brown.

As already said best of luck with this Badgie, hope you get the ****a who dropped you in the shit into court too!

Hopefully justice is served and you get what you diserve.

No! Then he'd get 25 to life!

No booze at all - this is a buisness thing that got massively ****ed up, leaving a certain company baying for blood. Basically got rather dropped in it :/

I love the irony in this, how you assume ComradeBadger is automatically guilty.

Justice Indeed!

Also, say that to yourself the next time you jaywalk, or pirate a movie/album.

Conversely, if ComradeBadger is innocent, and he gets found to be so in court, it could be said that he got exactly what he deserved, and that justice was served.

Therefore it could be said that the assumption is all on your part.

And once again, the bask of Zerimski has destroyed me.

Get a good lawyer?

........

:( I fail.

Ontopic: Wouldn't divulging case details on a internet forum be a tad.... I dunno, unwise?

Uh, what does that have to do with anything?

I concur with that rephrase.

Tell them to take you to real court. Small claims is hardly the place to draw blood.

The amount they want.. is within Small Claims juristiction - hence that's where it ends up :|

bs, you were caught giving fellatio to a guy in the park :)

well seeing as you got caught, can you explain the "business"?

We didn't get 'caught' - we didn't do anything wrong. There's no wrongdoing on our part at all..

Looks like we need a lawyer...

This looks like a job for Angry Lawyer!!!

Where is that stallion nowadays anyway?
