The results are in for this years Golden Joystick Awards and it seems that GTA:SA has been awarded Game of the Year(having never played it i can't agree/disagree myself).

What are your thoughts on the results? Personally i don't see how the PSP has scooped an innovation award.

Yeah, one of the sites i looked at about it noted that too. Also the zelda game won't be out for xmas.

jesus christ... PSP and innovation? I suppose it's a new level of polish and multimedia capability, but gaming-wise, it's merely an elevation, not an innovation.

This doesn't seem like a very reputable award. PSP for innovation? RE4 for film based game? Not to mention it looks like the Sun sponsors it.
