also I hav a interest in electronics(tv and stuff) and things for excurtion and camping

so someone know what are really good brands?

it dont necesary hav to be of what I say I will like to see what brands are really good

You really couldn't of picked a worse place to ask....

Every brand on the planet will be listed.

Who gives a shit about brands, get something that you like and that works for an added bonus.

You don't need brands, go barefoot everywhere.

buy something that's stylish, that you like, and works for you.

for shoes i'd go with dr. martens

Maglite for flashlights
Nalgene for waterbottle
leatherman for knives
umm...I can't think of the names of anything else :(

Spend as much money as you possibly can and look for the most colorful advertisement. Consumer bliss will be a blend of the two and cool endorsees are bonus points.

I mean, um, check out consumers' digest or some other outfit that attempts as honestly as possible to do objective tests between brands. Would you know a good controlled, double-blind experiment if you saw one? Merriam Webster puts out a hell of a dictionary, by the way. I'd start there.

Well I am a walking dickies commercial, seriously thats all I wear
and for shoes I always wear VANs or some generic brand flip flops.

Har har.. what a silly thread.

I personally own about 10 pairs of shoes / trainers and dont really give a flying **** about the brands.. I just like the look of them... lemme see if I can remember em.

1 x Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66's. 1 x Converse Allstars. 1 x Levis Converse Allstars rip off's. 1 x Puma pig skin trainers (teh comfy!). 2 x Reebok Classics (havent worn in about 2 years). 3 x Pairs of shoes/trainers purchased from Topman. 1 x Dunlop Green Stripe.

As for electronic stuff. I like Sony digital cameras, Panasonic DVD players, Samsung phones, LG monitors, AMD processors, Hitatchi TVs, Logitech speakers & mice, Epiphone guitars...

Samsung computers, moniters, ect.

Not buy into brands.

"Its shit."
"But it has a brand name on it! It must be good!"

Look at stuff, try things out, see if you like it. If it happens to be a brand, doesn't matter unless your trying purposely to go anti-brand in favour of comfort, which would be pointless as you would be as bad as people buying into brands.

Brand names suck. Well, except for computers. Computers are a tricky thing, and I generally try to buy from the well respected companies that sell good, reliable products.

Its hard for me to respect other forms of brands though. Like shoes, and clothes. No thanks, all the brand name really does is jack up the price and enslave you in fashion trends. You can find equal quality products for less price.

The real thing is... quality, not brand name. Sometimes the two cooincidently happen to be the same, but it is rarely the case. What i'm saying is... don't buy stuff because other people think the brand is cool. Buy it because you like the product, and the product is suitable for you.

Really... brand names suck.

How about fake asian brands, I mean like T-shirts and stuff you can buy in asia and are all fake.

for example: umbrow, aditas,nické,...
