Can anyone recommend any?

Things like Theme Hospital, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Sim City etc, I haven't played many and looking to get one to play again, love my business me. :D

Well, for a real true business simulation, you can't go wrong with Capitalism 2, take note though, that's a REAL simulation-game, it's not a simple game like Theme Hospital, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Sim City etc, it's far more demanding and far more 'real' so to speak.:)

Sim City 4 with rush hour isn't a simple game.

That's true but I wouldn't say it's a business simulation though, it's a city builder, sure it has economical aspects but it's not really the same as a business sim..

big biz tycoon REALLY sucks. don't try it.

I haven't really seen a good buisness simulation. I think we had a good one in class that simulated stocks, market fluctuations, product development and distribution, advertising and the like but I don't remember the name of it.

Could well be the original Capitalism Plus tbh, http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?name=Capitalism+Plus

I quote

The best business simulation ever made-- period. Definitely THE game to get if you were to buy only one business sim in your lifetime. You can control every aspect of your company, from building internal linkages (production to marketing to sales), to engaging in price wars, hostile takeovers, and beyond. There are almost unlimited strategies you can use, from focusing on being agricultural product producer, a savvy retailer, or a stock market wiz.

It really is a great game, though not abandonware, get either that or Capitalism 2 if you want -THE- best business simulation, heck, I usually hate economic games where you have to micromanage stuff, but I got really into Capitalism 2, Trevor Chan is a genius :)

I liked the original Transport Tycoon. No, wait, I think it was Transport Tycoon Deluxe.

Why not try becomming a real buisness man and take over the world? At least then you can have real money, cars, chicks, houses, swimming pools, etc.
