You don't have to type out my full name, it's mostly just for show...you know..a 'defence mechanism' to scare off the likes of sHm0zY...

lol, and its funny cause it confused me at first to many numbers....isuck at math.

any of these monitors better?

ViewSonic® 17 INCHES E70F .23 MM HORIZONTAL SVGA MONITOR

ViewSonic® 17" E70F+SB .21MM Horizontal Dot Pitch SVGA MONITOR

well, they're 2 inches smaller, but viewsonic is a better brand. If eitehr of those is much cheaper, id go with either of em.

I have a cheap 19 inch moniter and I couldn't be happier. Maybe if you are really anal about extreme image quality then a higher end moniter would suit, but I am more than happy with my cheapo 19".

I bought these 19" monitors by the name of CTX, my friend has a Sony Triniton 19" monitor. I can't tell the difference between the image, but since hes dished out that money for it he says that there is. I couldn't be happier with my $130 19" monitors. Maybe you can go for a 21" CRT made by a brand-x. Also, I would advise going for 1GB of ram considering all of the next-gen games coming out like F.E.A.R. and HL2.

Go for an optical mouse man, they are so much better for gaming.
