I dont need A SUPER UBER ULTRA FAST FAN !!! Just one that runs my new Athlon XP 3000+ very nicely
Ps. im not going to overclock EVER !! so if that helps thought I would just ass that little piece of info

The stock CPU/Fan should work perfectly for your processor.

If you want to cut noise, a good HSF solution will cost you around 20 to 35 USD.

What Is HSF And yes Noise whould be a big problem for me!! I wouls love to have a nice CPU fan and very very quite which one should i look into

Zalman make very efficient, quiet coolers. Especially the Cu 7000 or something. Keeps my 3ghz P4 at 29 c idle and 47 c under load.

but thats for a P$ not an AMD athlon. im looking for one that will work in my computer

no actually zalman makes coolers for both. look up their website, then search on froogle for the model.

45 bucks for a CPU fan ...no thanks..... and you have to convert it to AMD.. most of the reviews say not to buy it if your running and athlon xp...
I heard that the kamakaze CPU fans are great !!!! Willl that one work ??? With an ATHLON 3000+ and still be hela quite..

Thermalright
It's Thermaltake.
Thermalright is a brand...and they actually make better coolers than Thermaltake. ;)
Don't need a loud fan to cool the CPU with one of those copper sinks.

That silent boost is a good one but I would generally recommend something else over their Volcano series.

hey your topic says 'good cpu fan', not crappy cpu fan. the CNPS7000B-AlCu can be had for $35, and its good and quiet. whatever reviews you read are crap. zalmans are very popular in hardware enthusiast circles for amd and intel.

Oh, sounded like some cheap company hoping they get mistaken for a good one. Oh well.

Just for the record I'm running a Zalman with a 3000+ right now and I love it. Its certainly above and beyond what you need though.
