Hey, I'm looking for recommendations on good deep strategy game, with one special requisite, families and aging and ofcourse strategy('Grand' scale), think Total War games, Crusader Kings and Knights of Honor, I know it's pretty rare for suchgames but I really want one..
I remember a game with this I played a few years back, I had two sons, and my 'character' passed away, the result was my two sons had a dispute over who should take over, and the province was split into two, I was wondering if anyone have any games like these to recommend, except the above mentioned ones!
Any and I mean ANY suggestions would be great.:)

You guys missed the point, good deep strategy game with a dynasty feature like those in say, Rome Total War, Crusader Kings and Knights of Honor, thse are the games I'm using as examples.

...I don't get it.

Just play the games you're mentioning then. :p

Gaaah, the thing is I've played'em through to 'death' already, and was wondering if anyone knew of any games other than those with similiar features etc! Gaaaah!*Bashes head on computer screen*

You might be in luck Garg, there is a one called Immortal Cities, Children of the Nile. For example, your Pharaoh(King) can die suddenly during a campaign, things like that etc.

Can you have children etc to insure that if your Pharaoh dies there's a successor?

Play the other Total War games, Shogun and Medieval?

I believe so, in the demo I played The Pharaoh was working his way around the map with his two sons. I don't think you can "split" the empire with them, this is a city building game after all (should have mentioned that before). It's fully 3d though.

Ah yeah sword of the samurai, awesome game.:D
I don't recall having children in X-Com Beerdude, can you crossbreed?

Do you have a child fetish? What's so important about your character having children?

Search through The Underdogs and Abandonia for some.

No, it's just I like realistic games where your 'character' don't grow to be a few thousand years old but is realistic in that you have to ensure you have someone to take over etc, got a problem with that?
Already did the thing you recommended but ty anyway : )
