Alright I'm using Cyberlink PowerProducer 2 Gold which came with my burner, I'm trying to burn multiple .wmv video files onto the DVD. It's taking FOREVER though just to do this "Creating and organizing folders" crap. Hasn't even started burning yet! Also, the files total 18.2 gigs total, should be fitting on 4 4.7 DVD-R's, but nooooo, when I go to add them in, it reexpands them and I can only get 6 or so of the videos onto 1 DVD instead of 1/4 of the total 80 or so videos. What gives? Yes I'm new to DVD burning.

Are you burning as DATA or as VIDEO. There is a difference.
If you are trying to burn as VIDEO it will re-encode the video to be Mpeg2 (DVD) video and give you the estimate for how much it can fit on the disc.
If you burn as DATA then it shouldn't take THAT long depending on the speed of the disks and your burner. And it shouldn't put less files on a disk than you know will fit.

DATA is just putting the files on disk to play on PCs. Just like you do with CDs and Floppies.
VIDEO is putting it on the disk in DVD Video format (MPEG2) to play in DVD players and PCs.

I've never used that program but I'm using the general terms DATA and VIDEO that most burning programs go by.

I'm an avid fan of shrinkdvd, it's free and you can put a dvd onto one disc, you can choose how much compression you want and everything like that, or no compression. Did i meantion it's free?

Oh yeah it alos burns and supports a lot of data formats, which is what you're after right?

Personally I'm not a big fan of all-in-one applications but that's because I require the control doing it all manually with different individual programs depending on what I'm doing. I just have not become fond of them, that's all. They do their job well for the most part.
