Good DVD-RW?

My CD burner just bit the dust (ie: it's still burning, but everytime I try to open the files on the CD it gives me some shithead error), so I'm in the market for DVD Burners.

Any recommendations of which company is the best (I'm going for a 16x) or if there is a model that stands above the rest?

LiteOn, Sony, TDK, and Plextor.
16x is the highest speed for DVDs, which is really fast.

Plextor is the way to go imo. I've owned 2 plextor cd burners (one in each comp) and my friend has had one and now a plextor DVD burner. No problems with anyone of them, ever.

I've had good experience with lite-on so far, but I hear very good things about plextor so I'd recommend either of those 2
