On a whim today, I sold my Wii which has been collecting dust, and bought Dead Space, Little Big Planet, and Resistance 2, and still have 90 left over from the sale of the console. I'm the MAN!

Hmm, wouldn't have bought Dead Space, good game but I don't get why you'd buy a single-player game

I want to sell my copy of Dead Space. I bought it the weekend it came out and only played it that weekend. I tried picking it up last night but its so boring to me now.

You are the KING lol!

I generally prefer single player games because of the opportunity for a good narrative and story, not to mention that I can just put it down and pick it up whenever I want, where as multiplayer games require a degree of commitment to get good at, and there's always someone better.

Good choice on the sale! I've only heard good things about all those games.

I think I might sell mine, and all the games. Only ever use it for Brawl, and I could use the cash.

what's wrong with you people?
Dead Space is a fantastic game
nice move btw

I should probably consider selling mine...

But you get your choice of topping!

Also just to clarify, Dead Space has absolutely zero replay value and can be completed within one and one-half days. Not nearly worth the money spent on it. Little Big Planet...enjoy having your levels wiped from the internet AND your hard drive after working on them for hours, with absolutely no reason given as to why. Also, I hope you enjoy shitty free levels but $4.99 for good levels. Enjoy playing a level by Sonichu. Resistance 2...crap. Generic brown-palette shooter game crap. But that's really my own opinion, maybe you'll make out OK on that one.

But not likely.

Valkyria Chronicles, a PS3 game worth owning.

I'm wondering if I should do the same thing, but get better games.

Now where have I heard this before? Oh that's right all those other popular shooters that people seem to enjoy. The colour argument whilst valid in an artistic sense is lost amongst kids today.

Pfffft what does enjoyment have to do with whether a game is worth anything? xD

Good. Some consoles tend to get pointless after 1-3 years. Wii is one of them.

Dead Space is awesome. The sheer amount of thought that went into crafting a believeable, versimiliar environment and an engaging story is worth recognition and paying.

Anyone who thinks it being SP-only is bad should be dragged out into the street and chopped to death with rusty machetes and rakes.

If it's like the first one split screen co-op should be fun at least.

Of course, if his Wii was collecting dust perhaps he doesn't have friends over to play much.

Scouting games! :D

Is there anyone who says that? I've never heard anyone say that.

Fantastic, wonderful game, but deserving of a rent, not a buy. There's absolutely zero reason to ever go back and play the thing over again, and it's completed so fast why would you want to spend more than $8 on it?

Fixed that for you.

Dead Space was better than I expetced. Parts were ropey (zero gravity ftl), but most were very cool. I found it got a little repetitive towards the end, though.

Today I traded in Dead Space and a shitload of old PSP games, that I haven't touched in at least a year, for Fallout 3 and half of the new Prince of Persia.
