Hi guys, I was thinking of getting a PSP later this months. Could you guys recomend me some good games please ?

Patapon, Loco Roco and all the Syphon Filter ones.

Yeah sure.

GTA: LCS
GTA: VCS
Metal Gear Acid
MGS: Portable Ops/+
Daxter
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror
Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
Echochrome
Patapon
Locoroco

That's about all that I can think of that caters to my taste, but there's also a lot of good RPG's and racing games that I don't really care about that you can look into.

The gp2x can emulate psp games so yeah it does have locoroco

Jeanne D'Arc
Final Fantasy Tactics
Silent Hill: Origins
Patapon
Locoroco

Those are my favs.

Metal Slug Anthology
Castlevania Dracula X Chronicles

Those are pretty good, too.

god of war is awesome
just picked up final fantasy VII crisis core today and it's really good so far
patapon
loco roco

Patapon
Lumines II
Killzone: Liberation
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Wipeout Pulse

It all really depends on your likes and dislikes, but the most recommendable game, easily, is Patapon, try out the demo on the Playstation Store, along with the demos for God of War and Wipeout.

I haven't played my PSP in ages.. The only game I physically own is Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops, and it's hella fun. (I've got 1.5 PSP, do the math)

I need to 'get' some new games and 'update' my PSP, I still only have some pretty old games, but Loco Roco never gets old

So as for older PSP games, I recommend MGS: PO and Loco Roco.

Ahahahaha no.

Systems such as the N64, Sony PSP or Nintendo DS will never be emulated at playable speeds on the GP2X (if at all).

Emulating is one thing; making it playable is another.

Echochrome
Patapon
Locoroco

I cannot stress enough how awesome these titles are. Here's some more:

Me & My Katamari
Practical Intelligence Quotient 2
Silent Hill Origins
Wipeout-Pulse
Jean D'Arc
DJ Max 1&2

Most of the top PSP titles have already been mentioned.

GTA: LCS and VCS
Daxter
God of War: Chains of Olympus
Final Fantasy 7: Crisis Core
Echochrome
Patapon
Loco Roco
Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions
Jean D'Arc
Metal Gear Acid 1/2 + Portable Ops
Winning Eleven 08
----

There's also a few rhythm games that are popular over here in Asia. (Tatsujin2, DJ Max, etc.) And for some reason, Monster Hunter 2G is really really popular here... well it's supposedly built like an MMO but I've only played it briefly. It's great when you play ad-hoc with friends you know.

Oh and one more thing, if you have custom firmware then you also have access to the entire PS1 library. I'm currently playing FF7 on the PSP, just get a hold of 'eBoot' files.

Or convert your own PS1 images to eboots. It's not that difficult.

If you have a PS3 you can remote play all PS1 games on the PSP.

How does the internet actually work ? Is it worth it ?

You can browse the internet on the PSP, if that's what you mean. It has a little bit of RAM limitations, but I have no problems keeping three porn tabs up at once :naughty:

You need to get a contract with a cell phone carrier to do that I guess ?

I forgot, Socom:Fire Team Bravo

Socom:Fire Team Bravo 2
Socom:Tactical Strike

Tactical Strike is also the newest.

I am really hoping Confrontation is one million times as good. Which it will be.

my only question is why the **** have you not come back to thank me and the other couple of guys who recommended crisis core because it owns your ****ing life? :|

Loooooooooooooooooooooove your sig. Just love it.

PSP? Huh, that hasn't gotten any attention lately, so just look for Syphon Filter games...and....what else is there?

No, any Wi-Fi area (as the other guy mentioned) is enough. It's free of charge if you're not paying the internet bills.

If you would but skim any parts of this thread, you'll notice there are quite a few recommended games list...

Lumines was really addictive for me. Its basically Tetris with a 21st century makeover.

Im looking forward to getting my hands on the new God Of War game though, but Wipeout never fails either.
