I'm looking for recommendations on good sci-fi adventure games, by adventure I mean a focus on exploration and puzzle-solving rather than action, point and click, third-person direct controllable etc are all fine, as long as it's adventure and sci-fi.

Damnit I have played all three of those >_<

Anyone got any that specifically take place aboard spaceships or spacestations?

Little Big Adventure series.
7 Days a Skeptic (and other Chzo Mythos games)

"Harvest" is sort of a surreal game, a bit of sci-fi and horror mixed together.

A while back there was a free, short, point&click sci-fi horror game set on a spacestation, drawn in a manga type style. Anyone remember the name of that? I thought it was kind of fun.

...WHITE CHAMBER, got it. That was the name of it.

EDIT: Link.

Blade Runner
The Moment of Silence
The Immortals of Terra
Nikopol
Culpa Innata

These are the ones I currently have installed, but are a great place to start. Blade Runner in particular is a seriously amazing classic of the genre.

And I can safely assume you have played all the Space Quests then, right? :p

Dark Void looks like it'll be pretty good. I've been wanting a good jetpack game for a while now.

I have played most of the games mentioned in the thread but I've managed to get quite a few good suggestions that I've never even heard off!

Thanks for all the help guys!:)

Not quite sure if it can be counted as such but Beyond Good & Evil was really good.
A bit combat heavy though.

Give Cryostasis: Sleep of Reason a whirl. It's a FPS but it's heavily atmospheric and story driven.
A very underrated game imo.

Space Quest (series)
The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy
Star Trek 25th Anniversary
Star Trek Judgment Rites
Zak McKracken and the Alien Mindbenders
Myst (series)
Rex Nebular and the Cosmic Gender Bender
The Journeyman Project (series)

I may be pushing your requirements a little, but any Metroid Prime would fall into that category. As long as you're playing on easy the combat shouldn't bother you too much.

Yeah I've been looking into getting that problem is I own neither a Wii nor a GC.

Well if you do get a Wii, the The Metroid Prime Trilogy is what you should get in case you didn't know of it. Or just come over to my house, bro.
