Looking to upgrade my computer once more sometime soon, but I was wondering, is it really a good time to do it?
I have:
C2D e7200 @ 2.5 Ghz
2GB DRR2 800
Nvidia 8800GT
Slot LGA 775 Mobo
My computer handles current games fine, so I'm not desperate to upgrade or anything. I'm waiting for i7 tech to get a little cheaper before I upgrade my CPU, but I'd do it if the price was right. Is it a good time to upgrade, or is new technology just over the horizon in terms of video cards and CPUs?
Oh yeah, my budget would probably be around 400 bucks or so, since I'm not looking to do a full system build. I'll probably end up getting stuff one at a time and doing partial upgrades. I might start with just upgrading the videocard
