Google hacked?

Is it just me or has google been hacked.. about 30 minutes ago google stopped working for me.. havent been able to access the web server and doing a tracert lead to timouts. Interestingly the tracerout seemed to have a lot more hops than usual for google.. about 2 minutes ago I managed to resolve a host for www.google.com but the web site that popped up was www.google.com.org? This happening to anyone?

Do a search on your computer for a "hosts" file. Then open it with notepad and perhaps you'll see that Google is being redirected to an other IP...

Btw do you have kazaa lite installed?

Maybe it's a localization problem. It (somehow) figures out I'm in canada, and whenever I type in www.google.com it redirects me to www.google.ca

something hacked my hosts file! bah.. I do have kazaa lite but havent used it in months.. wonder why this suddenly popped up.

Had a whole bunch of other sites pointing to this one ip address.. time to do some investigating :farmer: <-- [don't look like a farmer to me]
