You cannot necessarily spend your way out of recession, but I believe it is possible to invest your way out of recession. Or at least put yourself in a more strengthened position to spring ahead as things get better.

It's something we've known for a long time. This Scottish idiot was never voted in by the people, but i guarantee he'll be voted out by the people. Everyone here knows Britain is ****ed no matter what he says. He claimed no more "Boom and Bust" despite the Bank of England telling him he couldn't guarantee that. He borrowed shit loads of cash during our boom years and pissed it all away. He hasn't regulated immigration and his slogan "British jobs for British workers is complete bullshit".

Our private sector is suffering with over 3000 losing they're jobs a day, yet public sector workers are all still getting pay rises and gold plated pensions at the expense of more government debt.
Brown has lost all creditability, while everyone is outraged by bank bonuses, America and France used the law to prevent them, while we are actually giving regular staff bonuses as well in a bank that had to be nationalised. He refuses to use the law to get back any bonuses and instead thinks harsh words will help.

I'd like to see what he plans to do. Yesterday for the first time since 1995 the Goverment failed to raise enough cash through the sale of a 40 year bond, which previously would sell pretty quick as were seen as a safe investment. Now everyone knows we can't pay the money back and lenders are reluctant to buy Government debt. Yesterday Mervin King the governor of the Bank of England told Brown that you've run out of money no more Stimulus.
God i hate this prick and i can't wait for him to be kick out. Labour has brought this country to it's knees.

I think...I could agree with this, the Tories and Labs by themselves are a bunch of noobs, but mix it up with a powerful third party, and one that frankly has never done anything overly dumb and stupid in my books in regards to policy (though I will admit I haven't followed them much anyway) and Britain might get a glimmer of competent government out of it.
