I played a little bit of hl2 earlier to day and noticed than you get the feeling of floating rather than walking/running. I didn`t like it. I didn`t even think of this when I played through it a year ago, though after playing f.e.a.r. it felt like crap.

do you like it?

this has probably been mentioned before, though I couldn`t find anything about it :afro:

Just about every other game feels too clunky. I like the way HL and HL2 feel when walking/running.

Wow, you need to chill out man.

He was refering to how to feels when you move, not particularly seeing the legs.
-.-

I know what you mean, cadaver - I miss the view bobing in Half-Life, but HL2 is probably the only game where it's not that noticable. It's a lot more painful in Red Faction, for example.

I don't see why it would be an issue. Different games have different movement. Adjust to it, because usually there is a gameplay impact involved.

You have to crouch though, don't you? I always was sprinting. Sprint, burst, sprint, duck behind cover, grenade, sprint... run away... die.

I agree, I like HL/HL2's floaty movement.

If you mean there should be headbobing or something like that no. Headbobing is unrealistic because your brain automaticaly adusts it so that you don't notice your head going up and down but headbobing in games is painfully noticable most of the time.
