Has anyone else noticed Gordon is kind of a pansy now when he swings the crowbar? He kind of sticks it forward like a little girl. I tried to figure out why the animation was bothering me so much, and I finally figured it out. It's not the force of the swing, or how far he draws back, which are the superficial reasons. The real reason is he doesn't bash things from both the left and right side! In the original, you'd whack something a good bash on the right, and if you clicked the mouse button again, the trusty metal would come whistling in from the left. This gave much more of a swinging motion. Now, it only comes in from the right every time.
I don't know if anyone else noticed this, but this is the real reason that crowbar animation looks weird. SOMEONE SHOULD TELL GABE TO FIX THAT SHIT.
