I just got a "Hitachi 250GB serial ATA HD 7200/8mb/SATA-3G" Hard drive.

The thing is, it came with no cables, connectors, or instructions. Where can I buy the correct cords, and know if they're the ones I need? I've done a fair bit googling, and haven't found much help.

Please help me HL2.net, you're my only hope!

Yeah thats an OEM drive.

If you're the one built the system; your MB (If it supports SATA drives) should come with 2 SATA DATA cables and 2 SATA Power cables.
Otherwise, ask a friend of yours, if they have SATA (Power/DATA) leftover cables laying around somewhere (Which I doubt they do, because most MB come with two of each, which are useful nowadays) or, CHECK HERE and see if Newegg has ones you like.

Good Luck.

I have an extra data cable and I think I have a power adaptor to fit into PSU connectors if you want em...

If you need to buy a SATA cable then get it online if you have the time. Local stores will be pricing them pretty high.

So I went back to radioshack, and asked if they had any cords.

All they gave me was this

I have no idea what else I will need, there is no cord coming out of the power supply that has an end like this. I've done more googling, and nothing is helping.

that cable along with a 4pin power cable is all you need

The other, wider cable is the power cable...that one plugs into the motherboard or adaptor card...

lol wut

The power cable goes directly from the PSU to the HDD. The red SATA cable goes from the HDD to the Motherboard.

Alright, all of that is done, now I need screws. There are none that came with my hdd, or my computer. Am I able to order screws from newegg, or any place on the net? I've don't some googling and haven't found anything

Any computer store will have the screws...
