got a problem whit stalker

when I launch it it says that some file page couldnt be found or is too small
and that for the correct execution the file should be 2gb or something like that

I was playing but this piece of crap called pc reset itself like it allways does

anyone know what happen?

something wrong with your profile maybe,

back up all your saved points in your profile, and resintall the game, its going to take you max 15mins to install with the latest patch. and try http://www.oblivion-lost.de/

they have powerfull forums for stalker.

Your page file is too small, make it larger ie 2gb as it asks.

Right click My Computer - Properties - Advanced - Performance settings - Advanced - Change - Set a size like mine depending on drive space, you can use any drive. The page file is fake ram on your hard disk you don't have enough ram (512mb is not enough these days) so you need a bigger page file. Copying to the HDD is slower than copying to ram so theres a disadvantage.

Word to the wise that screenshot is windows xp.

Yeah its normal. It takes awhile to get a hang of how to fight appropriately in this game.

correct, don't install it if you are far away in the game. I read somewhere there is a work around...hmm not sure... double check before you proceed

No the 20% extra performance mod doesn't kill your save games. The 1.0001 patch does.

They are better shaders performance wise. Just copy the gamedata folder into the STALKER game directory. The user.ltx is optional and would need to be copied to.

Docs and settings\all users\Documents\STALKER-SHOC

In the float zip file theres a gamedata folder copy that into the installed location that would be inside your program files. The other file is NOT required and just changes a few settings you having a low end rig don't want that.

ie Gamedata goes into Program Files\S.T.A.L.K.E.R. - Shadow of Chernobyl\
