I kno my ram kinda lowa dn graphic card kinda old but i m not ina hurry to upgrade that at the moment. But i was playing fined till about a week later or so. Please help. Ty

Is this just in online play or Offline play too? Also you need to work out if it's your FPS or server Lag. Try all the commands like "cl_smooth 0" just to make sure they haven't turned themselves back on.

Make sure you play the game in a low resolution and low graphics, because your graphics card isn't quite suited to play HL2 or CS:S. Does the choppy gameplay also happen when you're indoors? Or does it only happen outdoors (more to render(display))?

I perfectly normal when i first played it. When i run the test it was smooth and everything. In door or outdoor it about the same. As for lowing the graphic i was playing about week or 2 with all high setting and it still run smoothly. I might reinstall it and hope it back to normal. I try the smooth consol config thing and if it doesn't work than i reinstall it and see how it goes. Thank you for the help.

We can only properly fix your problem if you provide the following :

X - Have you ran the stress test before? If so - Do you remember the FPS you had? If so, run the test again with the same resolution and graphical options. Include the new and old Stress Test Result ( What FPS you had)

X - Did you install any drivers? Drivers can change performance for the better and worse.

X - What type of internet connection are you playing on?

X - What value do you have for the following commands :
cl_smooth
cl_interp
cl_interpolation
mat_bloom ( this can kill some computers.)

What speed is your RAM, and the timings if you can possibly include that as well.

Also, as the old saying follows : " Your computer is only as fast as your slowest part"

Quite honestly, the MX 440 is out of date. You might want to upgrade to a newer generation of graphics card to obtain any higher FPS. Other than that, you simply cannot expect to get more than 50-60 fps on that card.
