Got an Xbox 360 for xmas - Need some good MP games to play on Live

Hey guys,

So I finally gave in and got an Xbox for xmas, to go with a nice 42 inch plasma I got shortly before. Now I'm looking for some good games to go with it. Here's a list of what I have so far:

- GTA 4
- Condemned 2
- Ninja Gaiden 2
- Devil may Cry 4

It would be great to hear from you guys what I should get. I'd like to stay away from games I already own on PC:

- Cod4
- GoW PC version (xmas present)
- L4D
- Orange Box
- Dead Space

Not too into racing/sports games. Anything else is fair game though. What do my fellow hl2.netters recommend?

You pretty much have anything worth playing that's out right now...GoW2 is fantastic, you should get that. Other than that though...maybe CoD:WaW?... :-/

I liked Rainbow Six Vegas a lot. The multiplayer was epic.

Some very nice suggestions gentlemen, here's my to get list so far:

-GoW 2
-Halo 3
-Rainbow Six Vegas 2 (or should I get the 1st one?)

I kinda wanna get CoD5 but I'm leaning more towards getting it on PC. I have a friend I play games with that doesn't have an Xbox and these are usually the kinds of games we play together. Anyone know if you can play the campaign co-op with friends on PC as well?

How's the new LOTR game? I'm a little intrigued by it, but I'm kind of worried it might be one of those games you play for a week and then never pick up. Any kind of competitive online play on it?

World at War... that's an RTS right? Just seems kinda wrong to play an RTS on console. Anyone hear any good things about Red Alert 3?

I honestly don't see why every one loathes COD:WOW. I personally enjoyed it, there isn't that many good multiplayer games anyway right now.

Get VFO. Save money for SFIV. Play HD Remix in the meantime. Soul Calibur IV is OK too.

Does soul calibur IV have online play?

Yes.

And you will have no problem with being too good at fighting games online.
