Got my first check with my raise!

Well, I wasn't aware that I had recieved my raise quite yet, and when I got to my workplace friday, I talked to a friend that got the same raise *$9.00/hr* he was like "Dude, I just got $550 on my check! I was like "WHAT?!"

I ran, got my check, opened it up, and I almost jumped for joy. $595. 4 hours of Overtime = 40+ bucks. I was so stoked. I've been spending some large amounts of money on things, like Guitar Hero, which was $60. I'm going to hopefully end up buying my ne RX-7 soon. I'm definately going to love these checks.

I'm part of management in Braum's, an Ice Cream/Dairy/fast food joint. It's mainly Ice Cream Parlor that sells gallons of milk for cheap since they make their own, and then there's the hamburger and fries side.

I'd like to make $9/hr. But, that's the downside of working for a small grocery store. On the other hand, almost everyone is fun to work with. Most of the managers are very laid back, and what I do is fun. (except when stupid customers come through my line)
