I've been making an episode for Half-Life 1, and it's basically finished. The only thing is though, I added a logo to the menu screen, and I want to be sure it works on other people's computers.

However, someone told me the logo won't work on Steam Half-Life. So I'm wondering if anyone would be willing to download, install and activate the following, and just tell me if the menu logo works? I mean, I don't have Steam HL so I don't know how it'll look. Is it just not there, or does it screw up and look really stupid?

It's the only file on this page:

If anyone can do this, that'd be great. Thanks.

Link doesn't works. I was going to PM you back, but I was busy with some other stuff.

No worries, no need to apologise dude, I appreciate you testing it anytime.

Shit.

I'm thinking it could be that my logo avi has too high a framerate. So I've re-done it, with a lower framerate now. Any chance anyone could try installing and activating steamnova2.zip from the following location?

Thanks guys.

EDIT:

Actually I'm wondering about something else. When you activate the mod in Steam HL, does it show the logo, but with screwed up colours?

You know, to get Steam HL, you just need to enter your original HL CD-Key into Steam.

Unless your game packaging has gone totally AWOL, you should be able to get it. Heck, I think the CD-Key gets stored somewhere in the registry anyway.

Ah, I didn't know this! Thanks, I'll do that!
