got stucked

I was playing the game for about 1-2 hours. And I got stucked - in a room, it says ROUTE CANAL. I fell down over some barrels - can not find a way out. Can somebody help how to get out and what to do.

There's supposed to be a hole in the floor, you jump down, turn a water handle, swim back, and climb a ladder.

That's it. Jump down the pipes until you reach a red wheel, which you use and the water will rise.

this is the other option - but no hole on the floor
